Unit was the first demo tape by the first lineup of }hexdump{, which was comprised of myself, Loren Tindall, and Chris Stecher. It was mostly composed on an Ensoniq VFX-SD and an Ensoniq Mirage DMS-8, with a little bit of Ensoniq ASR-10 thrown in (as we were learning how to use it at the time.)

It was recorded in a dark basement, in a rush before our first scheduled show, using an ancient Teac reel to reel tape deck, as was mandatory during this time frame.

Unit was very, very silly and very, very crude. Very much like ourselves.
